Chapter 334
Chapter 334
As dusk descended, the Kyle Villa felt so were from the rest of the world..
Isolated that finding a ride was impossible. Aiden and Amelia stood there, fully aware of how disconnected they
Despite their reluctance, neither Aiden nor Amelia dared to stay any longer in that place. They were alive today because Kayla sacrificed herself
After what felt like an eternity, they finally arrived at a bustling street teeming with traffic. “Aiden, didn’t you kill him?” Amelia asked as they got into a
taxi.
Aiden covered his face with his hands. “Yeah, I
“Could it be an imposter?” Amelia suggested.

t myself… I even saw him being buried. How is he alive again?”
“No way.” Aiden shook his head. “No one knows him better than I do. He literally crawled back from hell.”
“What if it’s a clone?” Amelia proposed boldly. If Joanna had been able to persuade Monroe to clone Porter, then it stood to reason that Monroe could have created a new Jonny as well.
“A clone?” Aiden didn’t appear relieved at all; in fact, he looked even more unsettled.
“If someone who is dead returns, what else could it be but cloning? But can a clone truly retain the original’s emotions and abilities?” Amelia frowned, uncertainty creeping in.
The cloned Porter was living with Joanna like any typical couple. He didn’t remember Daniel or Catherine. ‘But Jonny is acting just like his old self is he a clone?‘Amelia couldn’t help but wonder.
“Amy, haven’t they contacted you yet?” Aiden asked.
“Not yet.” Amelia slumped in her seat, equally dejected, allowing the cabbie to drive aimlessly through the city.
Landon and his crew had entered the Mystic Sect, and Monroe was planning a counterattack. At that moment, Amelia was in grave danger–she absolutely couldn’t allow herself to fall into the hands of the Montgomery family. If she did, everything Landon had accomplished thus far would be in
vain.
“Am I just worthless?” Aiden muttered, his voice laced with frustration. “I can’t even protect Kayla.”
Amelia couldn’t understand how someone as strong as he could turn into such a mess around Jonny. Some truths, however, were best left unspoken. So, she tried to reassure him, saying, “Once Landon and Tuff are back, they’ll know what to do. We’ll get Kayla out of this.”
Aiden remained silent. “Why aren’t you saying anything? Do you not trust them? Or do you genuinely believe your brother can take on the entire Flying Tiger Sect alone?” Amelia sounded anxious.
“I’m not sure…” Aiden suddenly interjected, “Hey, what about Dr. Shawn? Can you get in touch with him?”
“Yeah, I can reach him,” Amelia said.
“Call him, quick,” Aiden urged.
Amelia couldn’t comprehend how a doctor could help at that moment, yet she decided to call anyway. “Dr. Shawn…“.
“Okay, I’ll book a flight right now.” Brian didn’t hesitate–he was eager to help immediately after hearing what happened. His serious tone only heightened Amelia’s anxiety.
They sat in the taxi for over three hours, feeling as lost as children unable to find their way home. Finally, Amelia’s phone rang–it was Landon calling. “Amy, I’m finished here, I’m on my way back to the villa right now,” Landon said.
“Don’t come! Something has happened…” Amelia’s voice shook as tears streamed down her cheeks. She stammered, “Jonny’s back–he has Kayla under

his control..”
“Jonny?” Landon’s voice was sharp with disbelief.
“Yeah. I’m fine, I’m with Aiden out on the street. But Kayla’s back in his hands again…” Amelia’s voice trembled, her heart pounding with son –
Landon’s expression darkened. Meanwhile, Tuff, oblivious to the trouble at hand, continued to joke around with his crew, celebrating their significant victory over the Mystic Sect.
Landon hung up and called out, “Brother–in–law, come here.”
“Huh?” Tuff blinked in surprise.
Tuff was only six months older than Landon. When Landon was in a good mood, he’d call him by his name, but when he was upset, he’d call sim by his full name. But now, all of a sudden, Landon was calling him “brother–in–law.”
“Something’s happened to my sister…” Landon said, his voice heavy with worry.
As the night deepened, the city came alive with the vibrant energy of nightlife, bustling and noisy. Amelia and Aiden sat on a bench by the street, resembling two lost children waiting for someone to come and reclaim them.
Landon and Tuff rushed over. “Amy.”
“Is Kayla hurt? How is she? Tell me!” Tuff asked, his voice urgent.
Tuff was about to explode. He had just completed a mission, only to return and discover that Jonny had taken Kayla.
Tuff spun around and shot Aiden a glare. “Some brother you
are!”
“I… I’m sorry.” Aiden hung his head, completely crushed.
“And you got kicked out of your own house? Seriously, how could you let that happen? Hurry up and take us there!” Tuff was desperate to save Kayla, and his words came out sharply.
Aiden felt a surge of despair. Suddenly, a pale hand reached out and grasped his gently. “Night Owl…” Aiden murmured.
Night Owl flashed him a reassuring smile, then turned to Tuff. “This isn’t the time to point fingers. Let’s assess the situation and figure out how to get her
back.”
“Exactly. Jonny’s lost it–if he can come back from the dead, someone must be pulling the strings,” Landon said, his expression icy as his sharp gaze swept over the crowd.
The night market buzzed with a sea of people, yet at first glance, everyone seemed perfectly at ease. However, they couldn’t let their guard down. “Let’s get out of here. We’ll talk in the car,” Landon said.
“Okay,” they agreed,
They climbed into the car, and Aiden slumped down next to Night Owl, his mood as gloomy as ever. She didn’t push him away–she allowed him to lean on her, silent and supportive! Night Owl wished she could say something to comfort him, but she lacked strength at that moment–she felt utterly exhausted.
After Amelia explained everything in detail, Tuff erupted once more. “What on earth does that lunatic want? Picking on a woman–does he even deserve to be called a man?”
“Tuff, yelling won’t help,” Amelia sighed. “He’s just too strong, which is why Kayla and…” She glanced at Aiden. “It was completely overpowering–there’s no way you could have stopped him.”

“I want to see for myself just how tough this guy is!” Tuff growled, clenching his fists,
“There are a ton of traps in Kyle Villa,” Aiden spoke up suddenly.
Tuff shot him a glare. “Then why haven’t you mapped out all the traps for us?”
“I already finished.” Just then, everyone’s phones buzzed. They glanced down to see that Aiden had just started a group chat, sharing the blueprints and trap schematics for Kyle Villa.
Landon pulled up the blueprints on his phone and began examining them. However, Tuff’s thoughts were consumed by Kayla–there was no way he could sit still and focus on the blueprints at that moment.
“Where are we going now?” Night Owl asked.
“We’ll regroup at a safe house the Flying Tiger Sect found, then plan our next move there,” Landon said.
“Forget that! I’m going after Kayla right now,” Tuff shot back, refusing to back down.
“Going in now is nothing short of suicide,” Landon remarked, his voice cold and resolute.
One look from Landon, and Tuff fell silent. Tuff fidgeted nervously, rubbing his hands together, worry written all over his face. He wanted to complain, but the glare Landon shot him made him swallow his words.
Landon was just as anxious. After all, Kayla was his sister.
“The Mystic Sect just got taken down, and now Jonny pops up? That’s way too much of a coincidence,” Night Owl said quietly.
Tuff’s eyes sharpened, and he smacked his forehead. “Wait, was this all Monroe’s plan?”
“Could be,” Aiden interjected. “Monroe always favored my brother. But on the day we buried him, he barely seemed sad.” Aiden recalled the moment, a chill creeping down his spine. “Did Monroe take Jonny back then? And use some special ability to bring him back…”
“No way,” Landon interjected, putting an end to his speculation. “Monroe started the Mystic Sect to bring Charlee back. But she’s still lying there in that crystal coffin, not moving an inch,” Landon explained.
“Then… what’s happening with Jonny?” Aiden gripped his chest, his voice shaking. “Landon, do you think he could be a clone?”
“Not sure,” Landon said, his brow furrowed. “The cloned Porter didn’t have any of his old memories or feelings, but Jonny remembers everything.”
