So they got a new alpha, he’s nice, we all talked to him, I even threatened if he treat them badly I’ll be coming back to beat his ass, I was sure he’s a good guy, I asked where he came from? He said his mother was orginally from this pack but moved away, and had him from an affair with a human.
We had our background check on him, and he came back clean, everything said it’s fine to leave him in charge, he’ll be there for them, he’ll get them to a place where they’d be a normal wolf pack.
We left him in charge after three weeks of observation, I kept assuring Rosalie that it’s all going to be okay, that’s it’s all going to be fine, but she wouldn’t believe me, I assured her that she could talk to me anytime.
We left back to the station and I could finally have a good night sleep, at fist everything was fine, I even got to see Whitney again, how did that little child managed to grow up so much in just a little time.
We got another mission right away, the
issions were piling up in our absence and Brooklyn had everyone spread thin trying to keep up with our big case and the small ones here and there. So to say we were busy was a small word, I didn’t have time to check my phone, or talk to anyone, I didn’t see Ezra in a couple days as well, Mateo was my boss for those missions, and it wasn’t that bad, but we missed Ezra.

“I’m exhausted,” I groaned, we just got back from this damn mission, why can’t they just make up, why do they need us to come, yell at everyone and make them make up, it’s just stupid, they should make better rules.
“Tell me about it,” Ezra groans sitting facing me, we both had our feet up on the coffee table, too tired to do anything else.
“What’s for dinner?” Mateo asks joining us, he dropped face first on the same sofa as Ezra putting his face on that poor guy lap.
“We’re ordering out, nobody got any energy to cook,” I answer him, it’s not just the three of us, all of the team was exhausted.
“Got it,” Mateo says, raising a thumb up, and going back to sleep.
“Have you seen my phone?” I ask them, I haven’t seen it in a week or so, I have forgotten it at the station, we were in so much hurry and I was so overwhelmed, I forgot about it.
“Nope,” they say at the same time.
“I’ll order, what do you want?” Ezra says, and we all gave him our order, after food, I was full and sleepy, I went toward my bed and fell face–first on the bed and slept like the dead until around four am, my phone was buzzing. I felt the buzz underneath me, I flipped and rolled around trying to find it, the phone was right underneath me, and I had to do a full turn to find it.
I looked at the message with one eye closed, and I tried to read it, it sounded like something urgent, so I opened my other eye and sat up to look at the message, it said in big letters, SOS!
I looked at the sender and it was a strange number that I didn’t have

Those were the messages, they went through days and weeks, it’s the amount of time that I’ve been away, and I knew who it was right away, it’s Rosalie, and she’s asking for help. I jumped out of the bed and ran toward the bathroom, I threw my hair up in a bun and washed my face, I got dressed in the first clean uniform I found and then I ran out, of the door.
I ran to Ezra and Mateo’s room, I knocked on both doors, going back and forth between the doors, until they opened them up.
“We need to go! We need to go.” I yell at them urgently.
“What’s going on?” Ezra asks me.
“Blake! he’s a fake one, he’s killing Rosalie, we need to go save her,” I yell at them.
“Save her? We need Brooklyn’s permission,” Mateo says.
“We don’t, we need to go and save her,” I say.
“What we’ll do when we get there? He’s the alpha, if we don’t have order, we can’t do anything,” Ezra says.

“You still have no right over there,” Ezra says following me to my room, as I was changing.
“Then I’m going to challenge him for alpha position, I have the blood of the pack, and it’s my birth right, you in or out,” I say in a firm voice, we need to go, now!
