My head is killing me, I feel so overwhelmed, I feel like I’m going insane, I feel like I’m responsible for a bunch of kids who have the tendency to start trouble, fights, and anything that I’m not expecting them to do. Instead of making my life easier, they are making it harder, especially this new addition of dominant wolves, I do need them here, I need more of them, but I’m depending on Brooklyn to send me people on rotation.
“What did you do this time?” I scold them, now I know how Brooklyn feels when the three of us would start troubles back at home, I have only been here for a week and I’m going insane, the only help I got is Ezra, Kyle my second man and second hand of help is busy with his
mate.
Yes, Kyle, the mute, has found his mate and they have fallen head over heels for each other, since the day I sent him to the hospital to check on her, he hasn’t came back, always guarding her even while she’s in a hospital room and bed, but he needs to be there for her.
And Rosalie, the girl who is terrified of males, she’s in deep love with Kyle, she says he’s different, he’s been sent to her by the goddess and she can’t be any happier, which left me alone with the rest of the pack with only Ezra as my backup.
“We didn’t do anything alpha, they started it,” one of the guys
answered me, they are Theo, Leo, Alex, and Luke. Also known as the four trouble makers, they aren’t causing trouble inside of the pack, they

know better than to touch anyone or bully any of the pack, they are helping them to build their personalities back up.
“I told you to run our border, not go into their,” I scold them again, at least for Brooklyn we knew our limit and never crossed it.
“We didn’t go into theirs, they came into ours, since the pack has two alpha taken down, a third challenged and not enough patrol, they think they can steal our land,” Theo says, he’s the smartest of the group and the best at following verbal orders.
“I see,” I say, having no idea what I’m seeing, do I declare war? Or do I try and talk them out of it, telling them nicely that it’s my land and they need to leave it alone.
“What are we going to do alpha?” they ask me, right I’m the alpha, I’m the one in charge.
“I’ll get back to you on that one,” I say, trying not to panic or at least not show them that I’m panicking right now.
“Okay,” they say confused and leave my office, I went on the search for Ezra right away, asking him what the hell I’m supposed to do.
“You can ask for a meeting with the neighbour pack, and ask for a demarcation of borders,” he says.
“Fancy words for?” I ask him.
“Talk about whose border is where,” he says, clarifying the sentence for me.
“We should do that,” I agree with him.

“Do you want to set the meeting or should I?” Ezra asks me.
“You do that, please,” I answer him.
“Call Brooklyn,” he says and I nod, I wish I could call Mariano and ask him for help, it’s him and his father who used to call me little alpha, but they never taught me how to be one.
“Captain, I need help,” I whined.
“What’s going on?” she answers me.
“I’m going to have a border meeting,” I say, not sure what to do.
“You should look up the maps of your land, check what’s yours and what’s theirs, take the maps with you, be firm and don’t hold back, tell them you’re building back your pack, and if they dare to fight you, you’ll get the peacekeepers involved, tell them that Captain Brooklyn is your pack sponsor,” she says, giving me more than I need for this meeting, no one is going to dare mess with us especially with Captain Brooklyn behind us.
I got the maps ready, I got dressed in some formal clothes that I had to buy, I had to buy a whole ass wardrobe, being an alpha is hard work, one thing I refused to do, was wear heals, I’m a soldier, and not some girly girl, I raised my head up, and walked into the meeting along with Ezra and Kyle both dressed in full peacekeepers gear, and as soon as I mentioned Captain Brooklyn name, the whole meeting took a turn to my side, and I didn’t have to actually declare a war, but it was clear that I’m going to need to keep up with the pack politics and it won’t be this just one time.
