I’ll Be Seeing You
Chapter 101
My lungs suddenly needing to expel the water in my throat was what brought me back to reality violently. I rolled to my side on the hard floor as I coughed up liquid only for my lungs to greedily drag in air. A fit of coughing was immediately set off, hot tears filling my eyes from the intensity of the violent reaction.
I was all too aware of the shadow looming over me as a hand rubbed my back. Perhaps if it was anyone else I wouldn’t have felt so repulsed but I knew it was Noah, his touch making my skin crawl.
“There, there.” He cooed mockingly not even attempting to hide the sadistic glee in his voice. “I have to admit, you’ve surprised me. I expected you to be begging for mercy after the first time but we’re already round three and you’re still being a stubborn little bitch and not giving in.”
I didn’t care for Noah’s thinly veiled frustration about not breaking me yet. I just focused on getting the air in and out of my starved lungs. My limbs were trembling from lack of oxygen but I refused to beg Noah to stop. The moment I did that, I was his and I refused to give him the satisfaction of winning this sick and twisted game of his.
When leaving me to freeze hadn’t worked the way Noah hoped, he got angry. The sting of his hand connecting with my cheek was definitely made worse by the fact my skin was freezing cold, my cheek erupted like acid had been poured on it.
I’m not sure if what came next was a result of Noah’s rage or another sick game in Noah’s plan to torture me into submission.
The moment I saw the bathtub I had known what he was about to do. Panic had settled into my veins like poison but despite the ache of my frozen limbs, I had found the energy to fight, kicking and struggling violently as Noah dragged me to the tub.
“I love it when you struggle.” He had hissed in my ear before forcing my head under water.
I refused to break. I know he wanted me to beg for mercy and trust me, I nearly did but I remembered my brother, Aiden, Kyle, Tammy and everyone else who loved me as I was and I would lose by giving in to the fucker’s whim.
So I took it. I forced myself not to fight every time he pushed my head under water. Even when my lungs felt like they would burst and the darkness crept in, I reminded myself that I couldn’t give in…
Each time Noah would bring me back around eagerly waiting for me to beg him to stop only to be enraged when I didn’t. Each time he held me under for longer, pushing me more and more. I knew it was dangerous. I had no idea what damage it was causing and I’m not even sure Noah knew what he was doing either. There is no way that someone this young knew how to torture someone so well and with such expert knowledge.
Right?
I glared at the smug bastard as Noah twirled a lock of my wet hair around his fingers playfully. He was hiding his rage so well under a mask of amusement but I could see it in his eyes. It was burning like

magma in those coal black orbs as they stared down at me, regarding me simmering distaste. His plan wasn’t going how he hoped.
Good.
“As much fun as this is, I need to be somewhere in an hour.” Noah finally spoke with a heavy sigh. “So I need you to be a good little puppy and stay here and not cause any trouble.”
His taunting tone had me gritting my teeth as his words grated on my already raw nerves. I wanted to scratch his eyes out and bash his throat in so he couldn’t belittle me like some village idiot. But I couldn’t. I wasn’t strong enough and Noah would be expecting me to lash out. He probably wanted me to as it meant he was getting to me but I refused to get him the satisfaction.
