Jericho looked down at the child but didn’t respond further.
Even though there was a door between them, their conversation ‘had long since reached Romina’s ears.
As she tidied up her clothes, the beautiful face in the mirror curved into a mocking smile.
She had already seen through their thoughts.
Her son’s opinion was exactly the same as Jericho’s.
Thinking back on everything from the past, she found it all the more ridiculous.
The child was so young, yet already had such improper ideas, and Jericho didn’t bother to correct him, letting him act as he pleased.
There was only one reason for this…..
He thought the same way.

After a quick tidy–up, Romina went upstairs to check on Hayden’s condition.
Once she confirmed he was fine, she packed up her medical equipment and headed downstairs./
When she reached the ground floor, Joaquin was nowhere to be seen, nor was his car in the yard. He must have left long ago.
Jericho and Kashton had also left first.

“Ms. Sandoval.”
A familiar voice sounded. Romina looked up at the sound and saw. Erick standing at the door.
Seeing him here, Romina was momentarily surprised. “Erick? What are you doing here?”
“When I came to pick up Mr. Bowman this morning, he specifically asked me to stay and wait for you. It’s hard to get a taxi here, so he told me to give you a ride.”
A respectful smile appeared on Erick’s face.
Romina unconsciously tightened her grip on the medical bag for a
moment.
She hadn’t expected that man to be so thoughtful, arranging for his assistant to stay behind and drive her.
Maybe it was to thank her for rushing over yesterday to treat Hayden?
It was early morning, and since they were halfway up the mountain, it really was hard to get a taxi.
Romina smiled and nodded. “Thank you, Erick. Sorry for the trouble.”
“It’s no trouble at all.”
After getting in the car, Romina rolled down the back window, enjoying the tranquility of the forest path in the morning and breathing in the fresh air. Her mood was especially good.
Halfway through the drive, Erick took a phone call.
At first, Romina didn’t pay much attention, only knowing it was Joaquin calling.

But when she heard Erick mention the name ‘Rosella,‘ her eyelashes couldn’t help but tremble slightly.
She instinctively shifted her gaze to the central rearview mirror.
Erick was focused on the call, driving while responding to Joaquin on the other end. “Mr. Bowman, the number really does belong to this Rosella. I’ve double–checked with the contact person. She probably didn’t answer yesterday because something came up unexpectedly!”
“Alright, after I drop off Ms. Sandoval, I’ll find time to call her.”
Romina’s brows furrowed slightly, unable to help herself.
She instinctively took out her phone, opened the secondary SIM card number, and switched it to airplane mode.
She did this mainly because she was afraid they might suddenly call, and if the ringtone went off unexpectedly, it would be hard to explain.
After Erick hung up, he focused on driving.
The car reached the foot of the mountain and was about to enter the highway.
Romina instinctively reached out to close the window.
She hesitated for a moment, but finally spoke. “Erick, is there something urgent that Mr. Bowman needs from Rosella?”
Erick was momentarily surprised. “Ms. Sandoval, you know Rosella too?”
Romina had already anticipated this question and prepared her answer. “I’ve heard the name. Apparently, she’s involved in quartz work and is skilled at repairing quartz, but I don’t know her personally.”

“That’s right! It seems Rosella is quite famous if even Ms. Sandoval has heard of her. I don’t know much about her myself. It’s just that Mr. Bowman has a very important piece of quartz that was shattered, and none of the usual artisans could restore it. They said maybe Rosella could handle it.”
“Apparently, she’s highly accomplished in restoration, so I asked around and only got her number from an acquaintance a few days ago.”
“Where did you get the number?”
“A client of our group said he knows Rosella, so he gave me her number.”
Romina nodded thoughtfully.
So that’s how they got the number.
“Ms. Sandoval, why did you suddenly ask about this? Do you have something that needs repairing?”
“No, it’s just that a friend of mine broke something and needs it repaired, but an ordinary restorer can handle it.”
“If you ever need anything, feel free to contact me.”
Romina looked up at the central rearview mirror and met Erick’s smiling gaze.
She was momentarily taken aback.
She really didn’t need that kind of help…
When Romina arrived home, Elliana had already helped Lina get dressed and even put on her backpack.
