Chapter 60
BREEDER AQUAMARINE’S POV
The floor was wet.
Maybe it was my blood. Maybe it was sweat. Maybe it was from Juliet pouring water over me that morning while Alexander sat on the steps, arms crossed, watching like I was an animal in heat.
barely flinched anymore when he touched me. I had no choice. He came down, opened the cage, used me, and left like I wasn’t a person. Just something to fill, to mark, to punish.
The room smelled of sex, cum, sweat and silver. I didn’t even know if there were windows in here or not.
My thighs were raw and sticky. I had markings and bruises everywhere, from the constant biting and spanking during sex.
My lips were cracked. My throat and tongue hurt from sucking his massive cock. My scalp was hurting from his constant pulling.
The collar around my neck chafed with every move. One ankle was shackled to the back of the cage. He said it was just in case I had more tricks up my sleeve. I had none.
Three days in a dark room. Inside a cage.
Dogs were better than me. Even a wash cloth had more to life than I.
Three days were all it took to lose everything.
The heat he once made me crave was gone. Or maybe it wasn’t. Maybe this was his real heat.
Animalistic. Merciless. Demonic.
One night, before passing out, I thought I saw horns and smoke. But it was just my imagination. An illusion– no, a vision of his real face.
He didn’t speak anymore. He didn’t stare anymore. He didn’t kiss. He didn’t ask. He didn’t feel. He didn’t sniff,
He just did what he wanted. And when he was done, he’d toss a piece of stale bread or raw meat on the floor near the bars. If i didn’t eat it before he came back, he would make sure I swallowed them while he pressed my skin on the silver bars and pounded into me.
It hurt. It really did hurt. His silence, his absence.
It reminded me of the day he pulled me into that room. That deadly aura, his eyes piercing soo much that his pupils were almost gone,
I curled into myself, wrapping my arms around my knees. I couldn’t even cry anymore. My body just… trembled.
And still… my heart was racing soo bad that even breathing made me throw up. Because of him and because of her.
My Kath.

Was she okay? Was she locked up too? What could Aaron possibly be doing to her? She didn’t even know why?
“I’m sorry,” I whispered to no one. “I’m so sorry.”
The lanterns suddenly came on but the room was still poorly lit.
I froze as I heard footsteps. My heart raced soo bad that it made my stomach churn.

They were slower this time. But it didn’t feel like his. It didn’t sound like someone was coming to use me and then lock me up like a filthy goat. But still I cowered, because lately, he smelled… different.
Familiar, but different. Like the scent of another wolf on him, another she–wolf.
But when I heard a gasp and a familiar voice, I raised my head up.
Levi.
He crouched in front of the bars, face contorted in such a way that one might think that he had seen an abomination. His eyes travelled over me and then he quickly looked away. He reached into his cloak and pulled it off, pushing it through the bars without a word.
I stared at it for a while.
“I can’t wear that,” I rasped. My voice didn’t even sound like mine. “The Primus might get your scent on me, Levi.”
“I don’t care,” his voice came out tight, almost as if he was clenching his jaw. Then he released a low breath, “Please, take it, Luna” he said quietly. “It’s clean. And warm.”
My hand trembled as I reached for it. I wrapped it around myself, the scent of grass and rain instantly making my chest ache. Levi’s scent. Not Alexander’s.
It didn’t smell like blood or fury or sex. Just… Levi.
I felt warm. But it wasn’t the type of warmth I had been searching for.
I wanted to ask how he knew I was here. How long he knew I was here. But I didn’t, because Juliet might have told him about my state.
“I’m sorry,” I croaked.
“For what?” he asked.
“For Juliet,” I whispered. It didn’t take long before I realised that Juliet was his mate. The same person who was punished because I fell off the balcony.
He blinked slowly. “It’s fine, Luna”
I squeezed the fabric tighter. “What about Kath?”
“That’s why I’m here,” Levi said, glancing toward the stairs. “I need to ask you something.”

My heart thudded.
“Did someone tell you to take the Core Fang?” he asked. “Just nod or shake.”
I swallowed hard.
I couldn’t. I couldn’t say yes. I couldn’t say no.

“If you don’t speak now, Alexander and the whole Kingdom would be in trouble. The Core Fang….. it does more than what Alexander must have told you and there are reasons why it shouldn’t be out. Not even with The Order.”
“I didn’t care,” I answered. “I don’t care about the kingdom, about the Core Fang or even the Primus,” I replied calmly.
‘Liar.‘
A voice whispered weakly within me and I bit back a sob.
“Don’t you want to prove them all wrong? Make Alexander pay for this….. barbaric act?” His voice suddenly dropped to a deadly whisper.
“Fine. But don’t you care about Katherine? Juliet? Aaron? Your pride and innocence?” Levi asked softly.
I do. But he doesn’t want to believe me.
I closed my eyes and shivered. I’m doing this for Katherine. “Esm-,” I opened my mouth, but agony burst beneath my
ribs.
Levi gripped the bars. “What was that?”
“I can’t say it.” I winced. “The words… they can’t come out.”
He dragged a hand down his face. “Then speak carefully. Tell me in another way.”
“But you promise you’ll get Katherine out first. Okay?” I asked, gripping his arm and begging.
Levi nodded immediately.
I breathed, heart hammering, then said. “There’s a drawer in the room. On the left side. The bottom one. There’s a small black vial inside. And… and an old burnt book. There’s a note tucked in it. It was hidden.”
He hesitated, “What does the note say?”
“Stuff,” I replied,
His jaw clenched then he dashed upstairs. After he left, the silence grew louder. Minutes passed. Or maybe hours. I couldn’t tell anymore. Time was a blur in the dark.
Suddenly, I heard a loud bang and I flinched, scared and worried. What was happening?
I heard it again.
A loud startling slam from above. My heart jumped and my hands flew to the bars. I was already used to the silver by now,

even though it wasn’t my first time staying in one.
“Levi?” I stammered, my whole body trembled as I waited for him. Sweat trickled down my face and my heart raced.
I didn’t know what to think. But I just hoped that Alexander hadn’t found him.
Or worse, Esmeralda.
