LUNA AQUAMARINE’S POV
My eyelids were almost touching when the door opened.
Heavy steps. His scent. I knew it was him before I even turned my head.

“Why are you still awake?” His voice was low, close enough to pull me back from the edge of sleep.
My lips twitched. “Since when did my bedtime become your business?”
He didn’t respond to it. He just came to the bed, bent down, and without asking, scooped me into his arms.
“Put me down,” I muttered, but my body leaned against his chest anyway. “I’m never going to apologise to Fiona even if you force me, Alexander.”
He didn’t answer.
The sound of water rippling reached my ears before I felt the heat of it. He stepped into the tub with me still in his arms, lowering us both until the water licked at my skin.
My eyes wouldn’t stray away from Alex’s every movement. I watched as he picked up the soft towel, added some liquid to it, and then turned to place it on my belly.
The moment his palm touched my belly, I felt goosebumps fill me, it was supposed to be a normal bath which I knew, but the way his hand slowly washed my body with the towel made my insides clench.
My mouth ran dry, my body became hot like a furnace and my insides vibrated even if he wasn’t touching anywhere intimate.
I adjusted myself and allowed my head to rest on the tub, my eyes closed tightly as I relished in the comfort of his soft bath.
I pushed weakly at his chest. “Why do you sneak in to wash me when you cast me aside like a dog tired of its bones? Why can’t you just stick to one thing? Either you hate me or you don’t. Anything you pick, I’ll accept it.”

“Yes, enough to play games with me. Enough to humiliate me to the point that I and everyone else here question status.” My voice shook as I spoke, “Enough to make me feel good for just a second and then, feel like death is better for the rest.”
I turned my face away, “your actions hurt more than the evil things I’ve faced in my old pack― more than what I’ve faced in this pack. Sometimes, you make me wish we never met.”
His hand stiffened for a moment and all I could do was to breathe.
He caught my jaw, forcing me to look at him. His eyes burned, but his voice came rough, almost breaking. “Sometimes protecting you means letting you hate me.”
That’s just stupid.
My throat burned, my chest felt crushed. His hand slid lower, over my stomach, holding me still as if I might vanish.
“I don’t want to hate you,” I admitted, the words torn out of me. “But you’re making it hard to go against what’s in-.”
His mouth pressed against my neck, slow, dangerous, claiming.
I pushed him back, “No-”
His mouth was crushing my neck again, his breath hot, his tongue licking, wet, rough like he had been starving. I grabbed at his hair, pulling him closer, refusing to let go.
“Alexander—” I barely got his name out before he swallowed it with another bite, harder, deeper.
“You drive me insane,” he growled into my neck, his teeth catching my lower lip before he sucked it.
My eyes snapped open as I felt his arm brush my nipple which had become sensitive. My face turned red as I felt his movement stop, slowly, I shifted my gaze to the side but what I saw made my heart skip a beat.

Alex’s deep eyes gazed at me dangerously which made me alert. I knew that look of his, one that I’m familiar with, one that had the power to weaken my knees and make
my inside tremble just the way it did now.
“I- Alex…? You-!”
My eyes widened as my neck was suddenly pulled up. His face pulled closer to mine and his cold breath hit my face making my skin tingle.
“Alex…?” I called again, carefully this time as I noticed his eyes which looked normal when we started the bath had changed.
They looked darker, fiercer and lustier. I could see the unmistakable desire in them, the possessiveness and obsession made my blood boil.
His lips slowly parted, “Aqua…” The sound of my name in his deep seductive voice made my lower abdomen flip.
My lips parted to respond to him, but all I could do was look at him, especially those lips of his.
The corner of his lips curled in a small smile, “Are you trying to seduce me?” He leaned closer to me, his lips grazing mine which made me part my lips in a gasp. He chuckled, “If you are, then you won.”
“Huh–Hmph!”
He captured my lips in a fierce kiss, his lips moved on mine like they were created just for him, he sucked my little lips fiercely and when I thought it was enough, I felt a sharp pain on my lips.
“Urggh….!”
I let out a small gasp of pain, and he used that opportunity to slide into my
mouth.
His tongue stabbed into my mouth, and attacked my inside without a waste of time. He domineeringly swept his tongue around my mouth like it was his home, he slapped his tongue on my gums and teeth, then captured my moving tongue in
a fierce suck.

He sucked my tongue sweetly until it was numb and I was getting breathless. Gradually, his lips left mine and moved to my ear.
He blew some air in my ear which turned me stiff. My hand on the bathtub was clenched tightly.
“Mmhm…No.. I-!” I gasped and took in a sharp breath when I felt his tongue sweep around my earlobe.
The sensation was heavy. My eyes trembled and my lips remained parted in
