Lennon thought. With all that wild action going on upstairs, if this video gets out, it’ll blow up the internet! Tuff is totally
screwed?
Lennon sighed inwardly and handed all the cameras to Joyce. “There’s still a ton more…”
Joyce’s vision went black, and she fainted on the spot.
Lennon hesitated, thinking, ‘Should I call 911?‘
He thought, ‘Forget it, better find Tuff first. He made this mess, he can deal with it!
But Lennon knew this was just one guy covering for another, and if Joanna found out, he’d definitely get chewed out.
“What?” Tuff blurted out, totally caught off guard as he was buried in work.
But then, he could barely contain his glee. ‘Joyce got busted with her side piece? And she actually fainted? No way I’m letting this golden opportunity slip by!” he thought.
“Lennon, the pregnant lady’s health comes first. Call 911 again. I’ll be there in a sec,” Tuff said.
“Tuff, you care so much about her? What about the Lady, huh? What would Kayla think?” Dan couldn’t help but call him out.
Lately, with all the gossip about Kayla, even Lennon had started calling her “the Lady.”
“Don’t worry. She will thank you for this.” Tuff burst out laughing.
Lennon frowned. “Seriously, how can you even laugh right now?”
Lennon, being the compassionate guy he was, shook Joyce gently, but she didn’t wake up.
So, he called 911.
Soon, the sound of sirens got closer, and Joyce slowly opened her eyes.
When she saw Lennon still there, Joyce asked in a shaky voice, “Why are you still hanging around?”
“You passed out,” Lennon replied.
Joyce shook her head and pushed herself up from the bed. “I’m fine, You can leave.”
“You don’t look so great. Just hang on, the ambulance is here,” Lennon said.
“What?” Joyce blurted out, her legs suddenly giving way as she dropped onto the bed. “You… You actually called 911?”
“No need to thank me, I just like doing good deeds,” Lennon replied with a shrug.
“Who told you to do that?!” Joyce practically screamed.
Joyce let out a sharp scream.
Joyce thought, ‘If the paramedics show up, this whole mess is just going to blow up even more!‘
Suddenly, a new idea popped into Joyce’s head.

Kayla had told her to come take down the cameras. She must’ve known Joyce would faint.
Fine, I’ll just go with the flow and pretend to have a miscarriage!‘ Joyce thought.

If Tuff found out she was seeing another man, he’d be done with her for good–even if she was pregnant with his child.
And knowing how the Prescott family was, they’d be all over her for another paternity test. It’d be like being stripped naked in front of everyone. By then, Joyce would have zero privacy left.
She might as well lose the baby now, while Maggie still believed that paternity report.
That way, Tuff would carry the guilt for life, and Maggie would never forgive Kayla.
“Is 911 here yet?” Joyce asked.
To her surprise, the first one to walk in was Tuff.
Joyce jumped. “What… What are you doing here?”
“Just here to watch the show!” Tuff said, grinning from ear to ear.
Joyce suddenly had a bad feeling.
“Wait, does he know too?‘ Joyce thought.
‘Damn it, Kayla! She ratted me out already?‘ Joyce cursed inwardly.
“Tuff, you can still laugh’at a time like this?” Lennon shot Tuff a look of disbelief as he turned around, the usual brightness in his eyes now clouded with all sorts of complicated emotions.
Just from that one look, Tuff realized Lennon wasn’t just some cheerful, simple kid. There was a lot more going on with him than he’d thought. Lennon was scheming.
“Of course I can,” Tuff said, strutting around with exaggerated glee.
‘Man, luck is really on my side today!‘ he thought.
“That whole mess with Joyce that I could never shake off–Lennon just blew it wide open,’ he thought.
‘With the video footage, everyone can see exactly who the cheater is!‘ Tuff thought.
Joyce watched Tuff, so furious that she almost fainted again.
“Damn, this place might be tiny, but that bed is massive! Seriously, it’s gotta be like ten feet wide, right?” Tuff grinned, glancing around.
Joyce closed her eyes and pretended to faint again.
She thought, ‘Whatever. As long as the kid I’m carrying is Tuff’s, who I sleep with doesn’t matter.‘
Soon, the paramedics arrived and carried Joyce away.
Tuff gave the Lamberts a call. “Mr. and Mrs. Lambert, hey, it’s Tuff. Joyce just fainted…”
Next, he dialed Kayla. “Honey, you gotta come see this drama unfold.”

Half an hour later, Joyce’s parents and Maggie all arrived at the hospital.
Joyce slowly opened her eyes, looking dazed and weak.
“Dad, Mom…” Joyce whimpered, her voice trembling with grievance as tears streamed down her face.
The Lamberts rushed to her side, their hearts aching as they tried to comfort their daughter.
“Don’t worry, you’re in the hospital now. You’re safe,” they reassured her.
Joyce, don’t be scared…” her parents murmured comfortingly.
Maggie said nothing, her face dark and stormy.
She’d just watched the video of Joyce in bed with some stranger–and damn, that bed was massive.
Unbelievable! Joyce has really lost it this time, Maggie fumed.
Here she was, pregnant with Tuff’s baby, and still messing around with every guy in sight.
She wasn’t even worried about hurting the baby.
And the way she was bawling in that guy’s arms, acting all pitiful, was seriously messed up.
Maggie was actually relieved she hadn’t split up Tuff and Kayla.
If she had, Tuff would’ve been played for a fool nonstop.
“Maggie…” Joyce sobbed, her voice thick with tears.
“Don’t you dare call me that. We’re done,” Maggie spat, jaw clenched as she cut Joyce off for good.
Joyce’s heart sank.
‘Crap, Maggie saw the video,‘ Joyce thought.
“Mrs. Prescott, how can you say that? Joyce is still carrying Tuff’s baby!” Joyce’s mother, Brylee, sobbed, sniffling and wiping her tears as she confronted Maggie.
Maggie’s face was dark as thunder.
‘God, this is such a headache! Why couldn’t that kid belong to someone else?‘ Maggie grumbled inwardly.
“Maggie, how did I end up like this? It’s all Tuff’s fault!” Joyce sobbed her heart out, tears streaming down her face.
Maggie’s jaw clenched in anger. “Oh, so he told you to go sleep with other men, did he?”
“He didn’t want me, and I was so heartbroken…” Joyce cried. “I was so upset, and then someone comforted me, and then… well, it just happened…”
“Seriously, you always have an excuse for your own mess,” Tuff scoffed, shaking his head. “Why would I want you? I’m already married. You’re the one who shamelessly kept clinging to me. What, am I the bad guy for not wanting you?”
Joyce sobbed, “You used me and then tossed me aside! You broke my heart!”

“So that’s your thing, huh? Every time you’re upset, you just jump into bed with some guy? Well, you’re really heartbroken now. How many guys do you need to comfort you this time? Don’t be shy, just name a number. I’ll set you up with a whole. lineup if that’s what you want.” Tuff waved his phone around like he was about to start dialing.
Joyce’s father, Xzavier, shot up, shouting, “Tuff! Don’t push it!”
“Hey, Mr. Lambert, I’m just doing what comforts her,” Tuff said with a cold smirk. “You heard it yourself. She only feels. better after some guy screws her to tears.”
Xzavier clutched his chest, looking like he might have a heart attack right then and there.
Maggie quickly pulled Tuff back. “That’s enough, just drop it!”
“Ah, my stomach, it hurts… it hurts!” Joyce groaned, pinching her own thigh under the covers. “Mom, hurry, get the doctor!”
Brylee screamed, “Doctor!!”
“She’s having a miscarriage!” someone shouted.
“My baby…” Joyce wailed.
In an instant, the whole room descended into chaos. Joyce’s cries tore through the ward, her voice raw with desperation.
Whatever hope Maggie had left for a grandchild was gone for good.
She looked at Tuff and said coldly, “Let the miscarriage happen. You and Kayla can take your time and have your own kids later.”
“Mom, seriously? You still believe her? That kid’s not mine at all,” Tuff said, totally exasperated.
He thought, ‘Mom’s totally brainwashed by Joyce. Unbelievable.’
Maggie frowned, thinking hard, then realization dawned. “Is it that guy from the video?”
“No idea. But it’s definitely not mine.” Tuff shrugged, not giving a damn whose kid it was.
He thought, ‘Not my problem at all.
“But… I had a paternity test done…” Maggie muttered, pulling up the report on her phone and handing it to Tuff. “See for yourself.”
