The match officially began.

Number Seventeen instantly pounced like a leopard, his muscles rippling, his punches swift and power- ful, making everyone’s heart race.

“Yeah! That’s right! Hit him! Hit him!” Thrilled, Chloe jumped up and down while punching the air, itching to throw a few punches on his behalf.

Roxanne, too, was caught up in the intense atmosphere. Her adrenaline spiked as she stared at the two fighters without blinking at all.

Muffled thuds rang out ceaselessly.

The sickening sounds were enough to make one’s skin crawl.

Within three minutes, the other fighter let out a sharp cry of pain and collapsed to the ground, unable to

get up.

The arena immediately erupted, the deafening cheers and screams sending the atmosphere into a frenzy.

“Number Seventeen! Number Seventeen!” Chloe shouted at the top of her lungs.

On the contrary, he remained expressionless, his gaze as cruel as always, as if he had just done some- thing trivial.

Then the host invited him to an exhibition match. His performance wasn’t affected by the earlier match at all. Instead, he defeated his opponent within minutes once again.

None of his opponents could last more than three minutes.

The crowd cheered him on wildly, going absolutely crazy for him.

They surged to the edge of the ring, raining money down onto the canvas. Green bills fluttered around him like snowflakes.

“Another round! Another round!”

Just then, Chloe took a velvet towel embroidered with a kitten pattern out of her bag and threw it onto the canvas with all her might.

It landed in front of Number Seventeen’s eyes accurately. He bent over, picked it up, and glanced at it before walking off the ring and disappearing into the backstage passage.

“Roxy! Roxy! He took my gift! Did you see that?” She grinned, her sparkling eyes lit up by infatuation.

“See? That’s a real man. He totally doesn’t give a damn about money. Of all the bills up there, he picked my gift! How manly is that?”

Roxanne smiled while shaking her head helplessly, “Chloe, with your rich imagination, it’s a shame you aren’t a writer.”

After the match ended, they went to the most upscale club in town.

Johnny and his friends were drinking in a private room.

He sat at the head of the table, gently swirling a glass of amber liquid. The light darkened its hue, but his eyes held no warmth, as chill as the icicles forming in the cold wind outside.

Joining him were Milton, Timothy, and Kemp Barnett, the vice president of the Padilla Group. Each of them had an elegant female companion at his side, contributing to a scene that was both harmonious and refined.

Only Johnny was alone, exuding an air of refined nobility.

Roxanne and Chloe were drawn to the big crowd around the billiards table the moment they entered.

“What’s going on?” Chloe walked over curiously.

The group surrounding the billiards table was thoroughly enjoying the match, breaking into applause and enthusiastic cheers from time to time.

A poised man in a floral shirt, with a cue in his hand, cleared the table with only two swift strokes, prompting the crowd to burst into thunderous applause once more.

As he looked up, his gaze landed on Roxanne and Chloe. The sight of the two striking beauties made his eyes brighten, and he walked toward them with a meaningful smile.

“Hey, ladies. Do I have the honor of inviting you to a game?” His radiant smile was laced with confi- dence and provocation.

Chloe gave him a once-over before curling her lip. “Aren’t you worried you might be embarrassed if you lose?”

Her words instantly piqued his interest. “Oh? You sound so certain that I’ll lose. Wanna bet?”

“On what?” She arched an eyebrow.

“If I win,” he said while pointing at his face and smiling suggestively, “you’ll kiss me. How about that?”
