Erick responded in a low voice, “Understood, Mr. Bowman. I’ll take care of it right away.”
Joaquin was the first to hang up, his face extremely grim.
“Grandpa, are you really feeling better now?”

Joaquin pulled out a chair and sat by the bedside. “How are you feeling? Are you really much better?”
Hayden didn’t answer his question, but instead gave a faint smile. “Actually, I was only in a light sleep just now, not fully asleep. I heard some of your conversation outside the ward. Thank you for standing up for Romi…’
“Why do you trust her so much? This isn’t the first time she’s done physical therapy for you, is it?”
Joaquin lifted his clear eyes, gazing at his father in front of him, his voice deep.
His father had always been someone who valued his health. At such a critical moment, if he didn’t have enough trust, how could he possibly let her perform physical therapy on him so rashly?

Hayden muttered, “You talk as if you know her so well!”
“I wouldn’t say I know her, but after meeting so many people, I can tell she’s no ordinary woman.”
