You know how they say they can’t take everything out of a wolf, out of a man, they could torture you, they could make you go to insanity and back, they will do it without a second thought, and when you think the people who are supposed to keep you safe will actually do their job, it just means you’re an idiot.
I was tortured enough until I lost my voice, some think that I’ll have it back, that I can talk again, but somehow, I stopped having a voice, and although I tried, it wouldn’t come back.
I was sent to he facility, like the rest of the insane people, the one who almost lost their mind but are sane enough to stay alive and be kept away, hidden on the side. I stayed there for many years, I decided that staying quiet was a great option after that, I stopped trying to talk, there was no need for me to say anything.
And then Noelle came in, she was a new addition, she was full with life, I know she thinks she was at her lowest, that she was depressed and sad, but instead she was filled with emotions, her eyes still sparkled, when she talked, there was emotions in her voice, but that all was gone soon, she was taken away and they almost managed to have everything in her killed.
I lost all hope after she was taken away, but four years later, they only felt like four days actually, the routine had it’s tall on me, I couldn’t tell my days apart and I didn’t care about the days, I was released, and I felt panic, more than the day I was caught and tortured.

I didn’t know what to do, I racked my head trying to think of something, there’s this person Noelle used to talk about, a person who cares, one who would help people like us, her name is Brooklyn something, she’s a captain, I demanded to talk to her before I was released and I got it.
I got more than I imagined, I got Noelle back, along with the chance to work with this captain, who ran her own suicide squad, people who came from this facility, ones that can’t get jobs out there, who aren’t made for the real world anymore. I took the job without a second thought, and although I couldn’t speak which was a liability for her, Brooklyn said I can be her bird, I don’t speak, but I listen, and people think they can trust me, because I don’t bother trying to communicate with them, but I can get a message through when it feels like it.
My first job was one with Noelle’s old pack, the one where the wolves were being abused and tortured each day, my first mission, unlike Noelle’s first cat case, was one that counts, it’s a case that I care about, we went there with vengeance and came out as winners.
After that, Brooklyn’s newest job for me, was sending me to he pack that Noelle took over the same one we were over a month ago. She says she got depressed and reached her lowest low, look at her becoming an alpha now, Brooklyn said she needs her bird, Noelle, and Ezra are close friends, she knows they’d be keeping secret from her, and I’ll be there as her second set of eyes.
That pack, there was a magic to that pack, I felt my name being called over there, I felt a pull, and so I happily decided to obey, I didn’t think twice, I nodded and went there, not just to obey but to answer that call.

“I need you to go to the human hospital and check on Rosalie, she’s the human who brought me here,” she tells me.
I heard her name more than once, but I never got to see her, she doesn’t like wolves much, and she doesn’t trust males, she’s always hiding and avoiding eye contact with everyone. Going to check on her in the hospital finally meant a chance to meet her, to see this mystery girl that had Noelle’s heart melting.
I got in my car and drove to the hospital, I used my notepad to ask for Rosalie, and they pointed to the room she’s in, as I walked toward her room, I felt some magic pulling me toward that room, and when I went through the door is all clicked.
