“Gustavo, speak nicely!” Maggie snapped, pulling him aside, then walking to me.“Charlotte, stop being stubborn with your dad. This time Charlie is really in trouble. He’s detained at the police station. Your dad and I were thinking that with the Hamilton family’s connections, Jaxson might be able to help him out.”
