Elianna cursed furiously, “Damn you, Skylar, you bitch!
“You fucking bitch. Damn you!” Elianna screamed, her eyes blazing crimson with rage. “Skylar, mark my words. I swear I’ll make you pay for this!”
Elianna had been fuming for a good while before forcing herself to calm down. “Now’s not the time to lose my temper,” Elianna told herself. “Only when! calm down can I figure out how to deal with that slut.
“Skylar is way too damn cunning. I need to figure out a foolproof way to take her down.”
Elianna realized her approach had been too rash. “If I want to deal with Skylar, I need to play the long game,” she told herself.
After a moment’s thought, Elianna mused, “If Skylar can start a company, then so can I. I’ll open my firm just to go head–to–head with her, steal her clients, and make sure she has no business left!”
Elianna mumbled, “No matter how rich Skylar is, there’s no way she can keep bleeding money forever. Even if she could stomach the losses, the Lambert family would never let her throw their money around like that.
“Once Skylar can’t take losses anymore and is forced to sell her company, I’ll buy it at a bargain price and pay it in her face!” Elianna grinned.
The more Elianna thought about it, the more pleased with herself she became. A smug grin spread across her face, outshining even the sunny sky.
True to her word, Elianna wasted no time. Using the reclaimed funds, she swiftly secured an office building near Skylar’s company and set up her firm.
Elianna rapidly staffed up her new firm, secretly headhunting Skylar’s prospects, outbidding Lambert Entertainment for every potential hire.
In just a matter of days, Elianna’s company had already recruited over a hundred employees. She also began signing talent. She had her team secretly monitor which artists Skylar’s agency was scouting, then deliberately swooped in with higher offers to snatch them away.
Dominic stood in the deserted conference room, clutching a stack of resumes, utterly perplexed by the emptiness. All those promising candidates who had scheduled interviews suddenly backed out at the last minute. Every single one claimed they’d received a better offer.
Dominic frowned in confusion. “If it were just one person, I could understand. But four to five candidates canceling at the same time? That’s way too much of a coincidence. Something’s fishy.”
He sighed. “The headhunter profession exists for a good reason, but no other company has ever systematically targeted every artist we’ve scouted. This
is absurd.”
“This is no ordinary matter,” Dominic said to himself.
He took the resumes to Skylar and reported the situation. “Ms. Lambert, it appears someone is after our talents.
“If we don’t find out who’s behind this, we’ll be at a serious disadvantage,” Dominic warned Skylar.
Skylar was well aware of all this. After a moment’s consideration, she said, “Dominic, I’ll have someone look into this matter. Let’s hold off on signing new talents for the next couple of days.”
She then added, “How is Zack progressing with his training? How’s he performing so far?”
At the mention of Zack, Dominic’s eyes lit up. “Zack is such a hardworking and quick learner. His acting has improved tremendously, and since singing was already his forte, he’s made remarkable progress there as well. His posture and social etiquette training are also coming along exceptionally well.
Skylar nodded. “Book learning alone won’t cut it. It’s time he took on some real projects and got some proper experience.”
Dominic replied, “Got it. Then I’ll scout for suitable projects and get hirm a few gigs.”
“Thanks, Dominic.”

“Don’t mention it, we’re all in this together. No need for thanks.”

When Dominic first joined the company, he was offered a compensation package unparalleled in the entertainment industry, far superior to what other companies could provide. Moreover, Skylar had promised him a 5% equity stake in the company if he could groom a superstar under his wing.
‘Five percent might not seem like much now,‘ Dominic thought excitedly, ‘But once the company takes off, I’ll be rolling in cash without having to work my ass off!‘
