Aquamarine stared at me as if I had just said the most random thing ever. She moved back and wrapped her arm around her chest, “what did you do to Katherine?”
I raised an eyebrow, “What do you think?” I replied.
She spun around and rushed to the table area, opened one of the drawers and came back with something in her hand. “Katherine doesn’t know anything about the scrolls. Please leave her out of this, I will figure this out myself.”
I stared at the scroll in her hand. “Okay.”
Her eyes and mouth went wide. She looked at me confused. “You won’t hurt her, right? And you’ll free Juliet and Aaron?” She asked in a shaky tone.
I smiled, a cold, calculated smile. “That depends on you,” I said. “Now, don’t make me repeat myself, woman.”
She bit her already swollen lips and took another step back, her hands trembling as she seemed to debate whether to
comply.
But it would be bad if I had to rip off her gown myself.
She slowly removed her gown and was left only in her underwear.
The scent of her heat hit my nose immediately, awakening my wolf.

Aquamarine’s eyes dropped, and she hesitated before speaking. “Oh, that? I don’t know. I’ve always had it.”
I studied her face, searching for any hidden truth. But her expression remained the same.
“Are you just noticing it?” she asked, her voice steady now.
“Has it ever burned you?” I asked, tracing the mark which was literally burning up.
Her body tensed a little then she shook her head. I knew she lied but I wouldn’t say anything about it. Yet.
“Ok,” I said and handed her the pendant. “It’s yours.”
She stared at me, “Mine?” she asked, surprised and confused.
Then I felt something shift in her. “You didn’t have to give me one because you gave Gaia a bracelet,” she said, but I could hear a little bit of annoyance in her voice.
Did she think the bracelet was a romantic gesture? I don’t know if I should correct her or just watch her fuss about it.
“It’s not from–”
But I stopped as I remembered what Katherine said about her feeling guilty. I didn’t want her to get distracted from the scroll she’s yet to read or the main reason she’s here.
“Gaia’s bracelet is not an act of love or whatever,” I said.
“Yeah, but you were fast enough to jump on her bed last night. And maybe you even did the same for Esmeralda,” she grumbled.
I chuckled, “It’s to stop her use of dark magic. I went to give her last night,” I said and I watched her body relax a little. “Besides, this pendant should have been with you a long time ago.”
I looked up to see her eyes go wide a little. I crawled up to her head level and wore the pendant around her neck.

But immediately I did, an image flashed in my mind. I felt Aquamarine shiver and I looked out the window, the sun was already setting. The day had gone rather fast but the events were interesting.
As much as I’d like to fuck her, I had to leave. There was one more thing that had to be done for her.
As I pulled away from her, I felt her small hand on my biceps. I looked at her, her eyes were partially closed, almost like she was pleading.
“A–are you leaving?” she stammered.
